The concept for Carpe Diem (seize the day) came from three individuals who came together to create their dream. One a teacher from New York, Steve Distler, who drove cross country to follow his passion for wine, now the wine director for the restaurant. The other two are a married couple from Sonoma County, Chef Scott and Stephanie Kendall, who also followed their passion of food, wine and people. With the three dreams put together they created a fun "hot spot" that has a great local following in downtown Napa. Whether you feel like a small bite and a glass of wine at the bar, or want to celebrate a special occasion with fabulous wines and a great dinner, Carpe Diem is the place for you!
